Benson sits along the western edge of Surprise with a mix of 1990s and early-2000s single-family homes on larger lots. Many properties here tie into older lateral lines that run under wide front yards and irrigation easements, making access slower than in newer subdivisions. Our crews know the typical cleanout locations behind the garage or near the alley in these streets.
Hot desert summers push heavy irrigation use that can send roots and sediment into main lines, while mild winters keep the ground workable year-round. We stage the van at 13925 W Grand Ave so response times to Benson stay under 45 minutes even during peak afternoon heat.
Drain issues often appear after monsoon downpours when storm water overwhelms the shared laterals near the White Tank Mountain foothills. We carry hydro-jetting rigs sized for the clay-heavy soils common in this pocket of Maricopa County.

Drain Cleaning in Benson — Local Notes
- •Benson lots often have deep front-yard cleanouts set 8–12 feet back from the curb, requiring longer cables than standard setups.
- •Irrigation runoff from citrus and palm plantings in the neighborhood feeds root intrusion into cast-iron and ABS laterals installed in the late 1990s.
- •Summer ground temperatures above 110 °F can soften grease buildup, letting us clear kitchen lines faster than in cooler months.
- •Access from Grand Avenue keeps our response quick, but narrow alleys behind some Benson blocks limit truck positioning so we often use portable jetters.
